With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Charles Zonsius (Cary, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zonsius and Helga Zonsius. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Zonsius; his children, Valerie Holaday (John) and Bryan Zonsius (Janet); his grandchildren, Steven Zonsius (Brittany), Kristyn Dowd (John), Nathan Holaday (Shannon), Nicholas Holaday and Isabella Holaday; and his great grandchildren, Tatum Zonsius, Beckham Dowd and Callan Zonsius.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (410 N 1st St, Cary, IL 60013). A Mass was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Windridge Memorial Park (7014 S Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013).
