She is survived by: her husband Scott Hilpert; her children, Olivia and Andrew; her sisters, Cindy Topoleski (Eugene), Linda Becker (Christopher) and Barbara (Dennis); her in-laws, Will and Carol Hilpert; her sisters-in-law, Kristine Hesch (Chris) and Ann Batkiewcz (Dan); and her nieces and nephews, Eugene, Annie, Walter, Emily, Christopher, Daniel, Haley, Tommy, Emelia and Max.
Besides her contributions to her family, Carolyn volunteered at Willow Creek Church and Big Brothers/Big Sisters, impacting many lives in her community.
