We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2022, at the age of 90, Lawrence D Cokel of Carthage, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Cokel and Lelia Cokel (Munson); his wife Esther Cokel of Knoxville, Illinois.; his siblings, Maxine Sage and Maurice Cokel Jr.; and his grandson Tony Cokel.

He is survived by: his children, Richard Cokel (Kelly) of Carthage, Connie Bruns (Keith) of Carthage, Cynthia Smith (Doug) of Carthage, Thomas Cokel (Jamie) of Waukegan and Jeffrey Cokel (Ann) of Carthage; and his brother Julius Cokel of Monmouth, IL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
