She was predeceased by: her parents, William JB and Catherine McCarty (Hartweg); her spouse Jerry Boyer (Bud); her son Shane; her siblings, John "Jack" McCarty and Sally Dietrick; and her brother-in-law Frank William Dietrick.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Boyer (Tonya) of Carthage and Jamie Boyer of Carthage; her grandchildren, Braxton Boyer of Carthage and Bailey Boyer of Appleton, Wisconsin; her brother Jim McCarty (Anabelle) of Nauvoo, Illinois; her siblings-in-law, Janice McCarty of Nauvoo, Illinois and Arnold Boyer (Nina) of Carthage; and her nieces and nephews, Jeff McCarty (Cheryl), John McCarty (Connie), Bryan McCarty (Jani), Jim McCarty, Steve Boyer, Cathy Lang (Jeff), Sandra Tuftee (Robert), Nancy Dietrick (James Harris) and Suzi Weiss (Tom). She is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
