He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Smith of Carthage, IL; his children, Shelley Smith (Jerilyn Miller) of Carthage, IL, Travis Smith (Teresa) of Carthage, IL, Gretchen Vacko (Smith) of Plainfield, IL and Wyatt Smith (Jessica Jackson) of Lehi, UT; his grandchildren, Brogan Smith (Taylor) of Carthage, IL, Alexis, Alivia, Wesley Smith of Carthage, IL, Riley, Makenna, Keegan and Delainey Vacko of Plainfield, IL; his great grandchild Weston Vacko; and his sisters, Wanda Kratzer of Keokuk, IA and Shelia Graham (Dave) of Carthage, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
