He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Dean and Margy Dean (Sherman); his brother Jimmy Dean; and his niece Stephy Dean. He is survived by: his wife Alice Dean of Carthage, IL; his daughters, Dee Dee Kahs (Mark) of Quincy, IL and Holly Bruns of Carthage, IL; his grandchildren, Tyler Bruns of Carthage, IL, Kyle Kahs (Kelsy) of Quincy, IL, Luke Kahs of St. Louis, MO and Erik Kahs of Arlington, VA; his great grandchild Kylah Kahs; and his sister Judy Gutting of Pheonix, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made out to the Carthage Golf Course, First Christian Church, or Memorial Hospital Foundation.
