It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert E. Johnson of Carthage, Illinois, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Johnson and Hildur Johnson (Dillon); his brother Larry Johnson (Janet) of LaHarpe; his sister-in-law Dorothy Johnson of Dallas City; his nieces and nephews, Brad Johnson (Tammy), James Johnson (Liz), Paul Johnson (Deb), Dave Johnson (Patricia), Annetta Tevis (Dave), Bobby Johnson (Lori), Carol Barnett (Jim), Patty Cuffe (Jim) and Andy Johnson (Becky); his great-nephew Grant Cuffe; his siblings, James Johnson and Ellen Johnson; and his nephew Bill Johnson.
A memorial fund has been established for Silver Maple Supportive Living or the Durham United Methodist Church.
