Gene Stoneking Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2021, at the age of 83, Gene Stoneking of Carthage, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Stoneking and Sadie Stoneking (Wilson); and his brothers, Mike and Kenny Stoneking. He is survived by: his son Gregg Gillaspy (Nancy) of Edina, Missouri; his grandchildren, Keenan, Kellen and Tanner Gillaspy; his stepgrandson Ryan Deatherage; his siblings, Arlene Clayton of Macomb, Darlene Oyer of Macomb, Robert Stoneking of Waukegan and Larry Stoneking (Janet) of Joliet; and his sister-in-law Marsha Stoneking of Plymouth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Everly House in Macomb.
