She is survived by: her husband Franklin Allen Shay of Carthage; her daughters, Melissa Hopp (Michael) of Burlington and Joella Brown (James) of Edmond, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hopp, Brianna Zutz, Shayla McIntyre, Evan, McKenzie and Benjamin Brown; her great grandchildren, Isaac, Emily, Eric Hopp, Michael and Jameson McIntyre; and her sister Leona Mapes of Williamsburg, VA..
