It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl A. Hartweg of Carthage, Illinois, born in Moorhead, Minnesota, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frederick and Ida Louise Hartweg (Ammer); his former wife Marilyn Johnson; his wife Helen Coeur; and his brother Donald (Marilyn).
He is survived by: his children, Paul Hartweg, David Hartweg (Judy), Stephen Hartweg (Barbara), Ann Terry (Kent) of Marseilles, John Hartweg (Linda) and Kathy James (Gerald) of Sutter; and his stepchildren, Candace Reyff (Randall), Richard Coeur (Barbara) and Robert Coeur. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Hickory Grove Assisted Living, or Blessing Hospice.
