She was predeceased by: her parents, James Miller and Mae Miller (Pulis); her husband Richard Smith; her son Brent Smith; and her siblings, Catherine Hall, Molly Bentzinger, Johnny Miller, Jim Miller, Gary Miller, Francis Miller, Leonard Miller and Carl Miller.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeana Schroder (Miles) of Danville, IA; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Schroder and Anthony Schroder; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Miller and Janice Miller. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Printy Funeral Home (405 Cherry St, Carthage, IL 62321). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Moss Ridge Cemetery.
