It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Iwaszko (Carterville, Illinois), who passed away on August 5, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Iwaszko to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jozef Iwaszko and Helen Iwaszko (Kumin); his wife Rosemary Olejniczak; his son Mike T. Iwaszko; and his siblings, John, Bruno Iwaszko and Marie Zeman.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Burnam of Carterville; his granddaughters, Sarah Towle (Ryan) of Carterville, Abigail Kurt-Mason (Jordan) of Alpine and Hannah Burnam of St. Petersburg, Florida; his great grandchildren, Rosie Towle, Senja and Reine Kurt-Mason; and his pets, Petunia and Butters. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
