She was predeceased by: her brothers, Zach and Zachery Scott Parrish; and her grandparents, Truman, Lucille Carrothers of Elkville, Illinois, Homer and Mary Parrish of Murphysboro.
She is survived by: her spouse Patric Mitchell Elders; her stepson Dylan Elders of Carbondale, Illinois; her parents, Karen Parrish (Bob Smith) of The Village, Florida and Frank B. Parrish of Herrin; and her half-siblings, Pam Kingston (Michael) of Evansville, Indiana and Doug Parrish (Yeisika) of Marion.
She requested that all donations be made to either, Hospice of Southern Illinois (Please note, every donation to Hospice, Elsie requested a "Thank you" note be included to Katrina) or Free Again Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation at 4029 Big Muddy Road, Carterville, IL 62918.
