She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Prather and Dorothy Lucille Prather (Young); and her sisters, Cynthia Lynn Prather and Ramona Wallin. She is survived by: her husband Allen Whitecotton of Carterville; her son Brian Whitecotton; her grandchildren, Nick Whitecotton, Emily Whitecotton and Brian Whitecotton, Jr.; her brother Larry Colson of Herrin; her aunt Juanita Schoolcraft of Carbondale; and her pet Jose.
