Ruth Alma Dunning Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Alma Dunning of Carterville, Illinois, born in Pomona, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ticer and Alma Ticer (Mezo); her former husband Leon Jearlds; her husband Fred Dunning; her daughter Jerri Lynn; her grandson Michael Drake; and her siblings, Billy, Robert, Jerry, Larry, Donnie, Jeff, Richard Ticer and Linda Lou Gossman.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Holderfield (Andy) of Johnston City, Leon Jearlds of Colp, Mary Ellen Evans (Jerry) of Carterville and Ricky Dunning of Danville; her grandchildren, Lindsey Holderfield, Sarah Sloan, Andrew Holderfield, Johnny Jearlds, David Jearlds, Billy Jearlds, Bobbi Jo Evans, Jerry Evans Jr., Moneaka Dawn, Destiny Dunning and Desiree Jones; and her sisters, Anna Mae Snyder, Jeanie Hill, Debbie Stilley, Tina Skiles and Caroline Loucks. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
