We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2022, at the age of 90, Russell P. Spencer of Carterville, Illinois, born in Benton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Spencer and Lorene Spencer (Perry); his siblings, LaVerne Lovin and Larry Spencer; and his grandson Alan Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Spencer (Simpson); his sons, Dennis Spencer (Kim) of Carterville, David Spencer (Donna) of Benton, Craig Spencer (Suzanne) of Franklin and Duane Spencer (Kelly) of Carterville; his sister Marietta Sneed (Dwight); and his grandchildren, Denise Ridgway (Nathan), Lisa Vannoy (Justin), Laura Haltom (Dustin), Katie Krause (Kenny), Jenna McGoldrick (Zach), Michael Spencer (Kaci), Wesley Spencer, Zoya, Taylor, Dasha, Jonathan, Amelia Reiss, Samantha Colbrook (Alex) and Alexis Welch (Chad). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
