He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Gaylord and WandaAnn Imogene Hickman (Yordy); his wife F. Diane "Cookie" Biggs; and his brothers, Robert and Wiley Larry Hickman.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Jean Biggs, Casey Jean Hickman (Georgio Miller) and Bruce Engel; his grandchildren, Jami Moore, Tegan Miller, Tiffany, Skylar, Brandee, Mikie and Johnnie Engel; his great grandchildren, Elijah Moore and Jeliyah Moore-Jackson; and his brother Douglas Lynn Hickman (Deb). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home (322 N Division St, Carterville, IL 62918). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park (13 Old Town Creek Rd, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Youth Golf at Crab Orchard Golf Course in Carterville.
