He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jarvis and Amy Jarvis (Laffoon); his wife Betty Lou Oliver; his son Brent Jarvis; and his siblings, Cecil Jarvis, George Jarvis, Jim Jarvis, Pearl Younkin, Violet Mae Jarvis, Shirley Schaefer, Betty Jean Jarvis and Pat Jarvis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bobbette George (Jerome) of Herrin, IL and Brenta Bevis (Eddie) of Ava, IL; his grandchildren, Ryan George (Stacy) of Knoxville, TN, Jonathan Bevis (Kara) of Herrin, IL, Destiny Griffith (Jordan) of Herrin, IL and Andrew Bevis (Shayla) of Mt. Vernon, IL; his sister Phyllis Gulley of Herrin, IL; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Asher, Aria George, Charleston, Emery Bevis, Avery, Lily Bevis and Tatum Griffith.
