He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Griffin and Norma Griffin Walker (Hackleman); and his stepfather Robert Walker. He is survived by: his wife Glenda J. Butterio; his sons, John Griffin of Tampa, FL and David Griffin of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Shane Griffin, Cassidy Griffin and Cortney Northrup; his siblings, Robin Walker and Rickie Walker; and his sister-in-law Carol Josten. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
