We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2021, at the age of 84, Ralph E. Rowden of Carterville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Rowden and Alma Rowden (Brewer); and his son Harold Blaise (Skeeter). He is survived by: his former wives, Helen Goss and Ellen J. Biggs; his wife Beulah Rowden of Carterville; his daughters, Tammy Lee Rowden (Gladys Ann Dozeman) of Johnston City, Cheryl Anne Martinez (Toby) of Marion and Debbie L. Bennett (Brian) of Brighton; his siblings, David Lee Rowden (Emily) of Carbondale and Shirley Anne Franklin (Jack) of Carbondale; his grandchildren, Caleb Bennett (Brenna), Sarah Clendenen (Jacob), Zachary Ellis, Austin Ellis (Grace), Joshua and Carlos Martinez; his great grandchildren, Atticus Ellis (Little Edward), Eli Clendenen and Amelia Ellis; his stepsons, Shane Young (Andi), Michael Young (Tammy), David Young (Trish) and Ben Young (Teqila); and his friend Gizmo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis CARE Animal Shelter or American Cancer Society.
