With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mikell Terence Miskell of Carterville, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lawrence and Mabel Elizabeth (Dickson); his brother Q. D.; his sister-in-law Georgia Miskell; his nephews, Dwayne Miskell and Ian Henderson; and his sister-in-law Cathy Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Miskell; his son Andrew Miskell (Leah) of Northglenn, Colorado; his brother Darrell Miskell (Suzanne) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his mother-in-law Irene Robinson; his siblings-in-law, Eileen Gury (John) of Plymouth, Michigan, Bob Henderson (Cheryl) of Crossville and Tom Henderson (Debra) of Burnsville, Minnesota; and his pets, Bucky and Emma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Anne West Lindsey District Library or to the Humane Society of Southern Illinois.
