It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael McNeil of Carterville, Illinois, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his aunt Ginny; his uncle Harold "Mack" McNeil; and his sister-in-law Patti Tooley. He is survived by: his children, Amy Daron (Brad) of Carterville and Chris McRoy of West Frankfort; his grandchildren, Madison Daron of Carterville, Quentin Daron of Carterville and Trace Daron of Carterville; his brother Rev. David Siere (Carol) of Brookport; his uncle Charles "Corky" McNeil (Alice) of Carterville; his cousin Sue Mason of West Frankfort; his niece Rebecca Schmidt (Billy) of Lacey, Washington; and his nephew Vern Tooley (Nicole).
