Petersen of Carterville, Illinois, born in Olean, Missouri, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Marion Weaver and Marcella Weaver Dauber (Miller); her husband Richard Lee Petersen; her son Danny L. Petersen; her siblings, Arlie Mitchell Weaver, Beatrice Beebe, Sarah Beebe and Eunice Mathews (Bob); and her brother-in-law Carl Young.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Petersen of Centralia, IL, David R. Petersen of Los Angeles, CA and Denise Jones of Carterville, IL; her grandchildren, Lisa M. Petersen of Anthon, IA, Richard J. Petersen of Elkville, IL, Jennifer (Charles Price), Ian M. Petersen of Oskaloosa, IA, Ray Jones of Carterville, IL and Luke Jones of Carterville, IL; her great grandchildren, Taylor Price and Janson Petersen; her siblings, Linda Ballard of Phoenix, AZ, Donna Young of Cedar Rapids, IA and Tim; and her sisters-in-law, Dee Weaver of Cedar Rapids, IA, Carol McGregor of Cedar Rapids, IA, Pat Weaver of Anamosa, IA and Jalaa Weaver of Alburnett, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
