With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Kay Threlkeld of Carterville, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Alton and Virginia Wenzel (Cole); her former husband Larry Duncan; her husband Melvin Lee Threlkeld; her siblings, Tom Wenzel and Sue Cavins; and her granddaughter Haley Cochrum.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Duncan of Makanda, Adam Troy Duncan of Carterville, Brent Duncan (Sonja) of Munich, Michelle Halstead-Baxter of Carterville and James Halstead (Dawn Griffin) of West Frankfort; and her brother Michael Wenzel (Tammy) of Texas. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
