He is survived by: his wife Angie Bird of Carterville; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Kyle Decker of Centralia; his grandson Kameron Decker (Sarah Jines); and his brother Jesse Bird of Ferges. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
