It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Runge (Carterville, Illinois), born in Chester, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Runge and Velma Runge (Leonard); and his brother Roger Runge. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Runge of Carterville; his children, Regina Spaulding (Mike), David Runge (Sheila), Donna Bogard (Doug), Donald Runge, Ronald Runge (Sherrie) and Connie Fowler (Mike); his grandchildren, Christy Mullett (Scott), Jeremy Bogard, Jared Bogard (Susan), Will Spaulding (Stasha), Joshua Taylor, Lara Runge (Jess), Rachelle Runge and Lexy Fowler (Christian); his great grandchildren, Shea Spaulding, Erik Van Driel, Ian Bogard, Skylar Van Driel, Kylie Bogard, Randy Runge, Drake Bogard, Gunner Bogard, Kyle Runge, Collin Mullett, Carter Runge, Noah Taylor, Joey Runge, Nolan Spaulding and Elise Spaulding; and his brothers, Dick Runge (Louise), Bob Runge (Ruth), Carl Runge (Sharon) and Virgil Runge (Sharon). He is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
