She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Earl and Katharine Marie Mabry (Browder); her husband John Raymond Sparks; her daughter Brenda Sue Sparks; her granddaughter Amy Chaney; and her siblings, Mary Edna Vise, Margaret Louise Lamb, Paul, Kenneth, LeRoy and Virgil Mabry.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Reed (Norris "Red") of Johnston City, Sharon Hock (David) of Herrin, Doris A. Kiesling (Mike) of Carterville and Michael Sparks (Chasity Winters) of Energy; her brother Bill Mabry of West Frankfort; her grandchildren, John Reed (Stephanie Price) of Johnston City, Holly Burks (Chad) of Herrin, Olin Sparks (Stephanie) of Clarksville, Eric Sparks (Alexis) of Carterville, Megan Kiesling of Herrin, Meredith Wild (Joe) of Carterville, Emma Brown (Bryan) of Troy, Jordan Kiesling (Taylor Nugent) of Carterville and Robyn Henricks of Herrin; and her great grandchildren, Bryndle Burks, Kayelee Pettit (Drew), Taylor Chaney (Wade Rea), Ashlee Meadows (Jacob), Jessica Morris (Devon), Maggie, Isabel Wild, Jaxton Burks, Dakoda, Noah, Evie Sparks, Bradyn, Bryson, Piper Elizabeth Reed, Lahna, Isla Pettit, Gabe, Elliot Morris and Ashlynn Rea.
Due to Covid restrictions, private family services will be held at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Pastors Larry Gilbert and Art Mize officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to Carterville First United Methodist Church or to Gum Drops.
