He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Baker and Marjorie E. Baker (Chumbley). He is survived by: his wife Gayla Baker of Carterville; his son Peter Baker of Carterville; his sister Dawn Stewart of Carmi; and his nieces and nephews, Camden Stewart (Katharine) of Carmi, Easton Stewart of Carmi, Courtney Vincent (Jeff) of Murphysboro and Megan Alexander (Jason) of Herrin.
