James Rolland Owen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Rolland Owen of Carterville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewis and Lucille Colleen (Lance); his daughter Julie Marie Pardee; and his sister Karen Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Susan Owen; his children, Allison Owen and Casey Owen (Lisa); his grandchildren, Connor M. Pardee, Evan J. Pardee and Tristan J. Owen; and his brothers, Larry Dale Owen (Sue) and Darrell E. Owen (Dinah). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home (322 N Division St, Carterville, IL 62918). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
