It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Harry Dippel of Carterville, Illinois, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dippel and Katherine Dippel (Muck); and his siblings, Katherine Geiger, George and Richard Dippel.
He is survived by: his wife Violet R. Dippel of Carterville, IL; his children, Kathy Belletire (Steve) of Marion, IL, Mary Dippel of Topanga, CA and Christopher Dippel (Christine) of Chestnut Hill, MA; his grandchildren, Jason Belletire (Julie) of Thornton, CO, Meridith Lager (Chris) of Lakewood, CO, Calli Cenizal of San Francisco, CA and Christian Cenizal (Karla) of Glendale, CA; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Lager of Lakewood, CO, Evie Cenizal of Glendale, CA and Oliver Cenizal of Glendale, CA. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
The family has requested for those who would prefer, memorial contributions may be made to the "Shriners Hospital for Children.". Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be mailed c/o Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court St., Marion, IL, 62959.
