She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Hazel Rogers (Cantrell) and James Henry "Red" Rogers; her husband Virgil Paul Hunt; and her daughter Margaret Childers. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Norris (Steve) of Waltonville; her son-in-law Bruce Childers of Carterville; her grandchildren, Mallory Martin (Andrew), Ashley Paddock (Travis), Lindsay Harvey (Chris) and Wesley Norris (Trish); her great grandchildren, Jace, Jaxe Paddock, Alivia, Toby Harvey, Josie, Cavitt and Camden Martin; her sister-in-law June Barnes of Tustin, California; and her nephews, David Barnes and Greg Barnes. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home (322 N Division St, Carterville, IL 62918). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church in Carterville.
