She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bayles and Leona Catherine Bayles (Lorenze); her husband Joe Elbert Palmer; her children-in-law, Bonnie Palmer (Fisher) and Carl Eugene Wilkins; and her siblings, Helen Bayles, Margaret Bennett, Dorothy Trapani, James Bayles, Robert Bayles and Virginia Smothers.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Anthony Palmer (Susan), Richard Allen Palmer (Janet), Catherine Louise Wilkins, Mary Ann Troutman (Terry), David Lee Palmer (Georgette), Monica Lynn Pflug (Jeff), Judge Phillip Gerard Palmer Sr., Rita Colette Arnold (Michael), Brenda Jean Murfin (Mark, Jr.) and Carol Yvonne Jones (Michael Richard). She is also survived by twenty-five Grandchildren; and twenty-seven Great Grandchildren.
