It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Ennis of Carterville, Illinois, born in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on August 8, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ray Ennis and Doris Jean Ennis (Stricklin); his brothers, Johnny Ray Ennis and Lonnie Gene Ennis; and his son Jeffery "Jeff" Don Ennis.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Ennis (Malabug); his children, J. D. Ennis (Crystal Ennis) of Downers Grove, Illinois, Michael Ennis of Chula Vista, California, Kendra Ennis of Chula Vista, California, Pamela Wright (Ennis) of Carterville, Illinois, Christopher Ennis (Chelsea Ennis) of Carterville, Illinois and Samantha Ennis of Carterville, Illinois; his sister Marabeth Clark (Joey Clark) of West Frankfort, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jereth Ennis, Aislinn Ennis, Jace Ennis, Derrick Ennis, Aiden Ennis, Aubrey Ennis and Amber Dawn Keckler; and his close friend Rob Holland. He is also survived by cousins and multiple nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO COVID-19: visitation limit of 50 person capacity at one time; facial coverings are required; social distancing yourself from others; and refrain from hugging.
