He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Beckmann and Florence Beckmann (Mensing); his wife Betty Unruh; his sister Judith Athmer; and his father-in-law LeRoy Unruh.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Peterson (Nick), Stacie Beckmann, Sonia Beckmann and Robert Beckmann; his granddaughter Trinity; his mother-in-law Leola Unruh; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Athmer, Gary Unruh, Steven Unruh, Janice Unruh and Diane Clack.
