He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Vaughn and Geraldine Vaughn (Prewitt); and his siblings, Paul Batson and Alice Robertson (Cliff). He is survived by: his wife Vickie Vaughn of Carterville; his children, Matissa Vaughn of St. Louis, Tina Braden of Herrin and Tom Vaughn of Pittsburg; his stepson Bradley Maynor of Herrin; his siblings, Dean Vaughn (Bernadine) of Carterville, Ellen Robertson (Bo) of Carterville and Flo Wells (Jerry) of Mulkeytown; and his sister-in-law Karen Batson of Mattoon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
