He was predeceased by: his parents, James Logan and Mary Elizabeth King (Trexler); and his siblings, Edward, Harland, Fred and Mae Stearns.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth King of Carterville; his daughter Katherine Giacomo (James) of Pinckneyville; his grandchildren, Mary Schablowsky (Bill) of Mulkeytown and Shane Giacomo of DuQuoin; and his great grandchildren, Alexis and Xander Schablowsky.
