It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hedges of Carterville, Illinois, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Hedges and Dottie J. Hedges (King); his sister Diana Hedges; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Elaine Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Janis King, Patti Moore, Art Jackson and Gary Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Hedges of Carterville; his daughters, Dottie "Dee" Austin (Patrick) of Marion and Danielle Hope (Travis) of Carterville; his grandchildren, Chase Allen of Marion, Abigail Elizabeth Austin of Marion, Knox Morrison of Carterville and Nash Allen Hope of Carterville; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Durant of Zanesville, Ohio and Larry Moore of St. Clairsville, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
