It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Hoover of Carterville, Illinois, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rowland and Helen Johnson; her siblings, Ronald, Walter Rowland and Shirley Watson; and her siblings-in-law, Goble Fogle, Don Evans, Ronnie Watson and Juanita Rowland.
She is survived by: her husband Lowell Hoover of Carterville; her daughters, Terri Hanley (Terry) of Carterville and Babe Hoover (Dave White) of Carterville; her grandchildren, Benjamin Hanley of Marion, Seth Hanley of Carterville and Elyse Calhoun (Josh Wilson) of Springfield; her great grandchildren, Makenna Hanley, Thomas Hanley and Mia Hanley; her siblings, Jimmy Rowland (Georgia), Betty Evans and Starlette Rowatt (John); and her sister-in-law Annabelle Fogle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
Covid-19 Restrictions will apply, and facial coverings are required.
