He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Shannon and Irene Shannon (Logan); his wife Sherryl Trusty; and his sister Marilyn Walker. He is survived by: his daughter Kara; his son-in-law Doug Wagner of Jerseyville; his grandsons, Drake Kanallakan (Paige) and Dax Kanallakan of Jerseyville; his sister Judy Gonzales (David) of White Rock, NM; his brothers-in-law, Dean Walker of Greenfield and Terry Trusty (Vickie) of Carrollton; his nieces and nephews, Sherry Kinser (Mike), Scott Walker (Anne), Jan Plogger (Ron), Lori McAdams, Amber Ford, Mark Gonzales (Andrea), Carrie Atencio (Jonathan) and Matt Trusty (Susanne); and his friend Bill Knop of Patrick's Day.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be made to Eldred American Legion or the Honor.
