She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Rogers and Melvina Griffith Rogers; her husband Charles Robert Young; and her siblings, Doris Johnson, Francis Wilson, Mary Powell, Patricia Pollard, Arthur "Sonny", Dewyane "Bucky" and George Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Pitchford (Virgle) of Rockbridge and Rhonda Mintert (Dennis) of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Tiffany Pranger, Logan Pranger, Austin Mintert and Samantha Pitchford; her great grandchildren, Brady, Bentley Seymour, Alyssa Gordley and Emma Allen; and her sister Donna Helenthal of Macon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Airsman - Hires Funeral Home - White Hall (234 N Main St, White Hall, IL 62092). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Pine Tree Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Carrollton First Baptist Church or the National Kidney Foundation.
