It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Bushnell of Carrollton, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis Bushnell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleatus Reynolds and Celia Freer Reynolds; her husband Paul Bushnell; her stepgrandson Troy Montgomery; and her siblings, Betty Van Gerpen and Richard Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Cleveland of Wesley Chapel, FL, Molly Montgomery (John) of Carrollton, Phillip Bushnell (Diana) of Jacksonville and Kurt Bushnell (Beth) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Ross Cleveland, Todd Surratt (Kaitlyn), Jenna Copeland (Marty), Tiffanee Peters (Conrad), Tanna McCutcheon, Tawni Hoskin (Darien), Collin Bushnell (Andrea) and Carlee Clark (Korben); her stepgrandchildren, Althea Gyde (James), Casey and John A. Montgomery; her great grandchildren, Owen, Braxton, Camden, Kolton, Kaden, Journee, Jagger, Noah, Charlie, Sadie and Brady; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lillian, Katheryn and James. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Airsman - Hires Funeral Home - White Hall (234 N Main St, White Hall, IL 62092). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the Carrollton City Cemetery (870 Eighth St, Carrollton, IL 62016).
