She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Short and Ruth Darr Short; her brother Roger; and her sister-in-law Betty Short. She is survived by: her husband E. Neal Gillingham; her sons, Richard Gillingham (Becky) of Carrollton and David Gillingham (Jann) of Belleville; her grandchildren, Kara Short (Brian), Mark Gillingham (Corie) and Luke Gillingham; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan Blaha (Kate) and Kyle Blaha (Sean); her great grandchildren, Ava, Aden, Maclin Short and Collins Gillingham; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Maddox, Mabry and Annie Blaha.
Memorials may be made to the Carrollton First Baptist Church, The Fellowship of Christian Athletes or the Boyd Hospital Foundation.
