She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Ringhausen and Sarah Leone Fisher Ringhausen; her husband Donald Prough; her sister Corneil Clowers; and her son-in-law Jim Cook.

She is survived by: her children, Sarah Cook (Mike Hill) of Carrollton and Howard Prough (Melissa) of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Ben Cook (Kristie), Adele Hillis (Dawson), Landry Prough (Kassidy), Megan Roemer (Glenn) and Wade Prough; her stepgrandchildren, Kyle Hill (Kayla) and Michael Hill; her great grandchildren, Maggie and Jim Cook; her siblings, Lois Lock of Jerseyville, Glenda Powers of Jerseyville, Althea Ringhausen of Denver, CO, Dwight Ringhausen (Mildred) of Hardin, David Ringhausen (Margaret) of Hardin and Clay Ringhausen of Hardin; and her brother-in-law Larry Clowers of Belleview. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
