Cordes of Carrollton, Illinois, born in Greenfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Albrecht and Anna Albrecht (Banghart); her husband Henry J. Cordes; her son James J. Cordes; and her siblings, Harold J. Albrecht and Dorothy C. Symes.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Whitlock (Ron), Richard H. Cordes (Marilyn) and Joanne Kesinger (John); her grandchildren, Rhonda Cox (Don), Clayton Whitlock (Tracy), Anne Clendenny (Jim), Jamie Schmidt (Eric), Joseph Cordes, James Cordes, Terry Cordes (Michelle), Susan Wray (Scott), Elizabeth Piper (Nathan) and Kyle Kesinger (Alexandria); her great grandchildren, Daniel Cox (Leanne), Lucas Cox, Brandon Schmidt (Destiny), Cailee Schmidt, Cara Whitlock, Kinze, Riley Whitlock, Dagan Cordes, Evan Cordes, Cole Wray and Emily Wray; her great great grandchildren, Mason Schmidt and Brody Cox; her stepgrandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Clendenny; and her daughter-in-law Janet Cordes Pregler of Jerseyville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
