He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Bertman and Lena Bertman (Moran); his wife Clara Belle Tanner; his siblings, Donald Bertman (Flo), Mary Lou Chynoweth (George) and Barbara Ann Kirbach (Fred); his children, Chris Bertman (Vickie), Phil Bertman, Craig Bertman (Pam Newton), Donna Howard (Joe) of Carrollton and Caryn Bertman of Springfield; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jonathan Bertman, Derek Bertman (Lauren), Jessica and Jacob Bertman; his great grandchildren, RyeLeigh and Dillon; his stepgrandchildren, Toby Howard (Rachel), Jenny Arnett (Clayton) and Cory Howard (Jennifer Cox); and also, George Chynoweth, Jr., David Kirbach and Bruce Bertman. He was also cherished by six step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
