He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brinker and Frances Brinker (Rawe); his wife Ellen Schulte; his children, Stephen, Dennis Brinker and Denise Hardwick; and his siblings, John "Jack" Brinker, Robert "Bob" Brinker and Jean Rollins.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori; his son-in-law Stephen Weber of Jacksonville; his son Anthony Brinker of Bushnell; his son-in-law Ronnie Hardwick of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Shannon Peacock, Matthew Peacock (Ashton), Hannah Hardwick, Elizabeth Weber (Adam), Quinn Weber, Haley Brinker and Jordan Saigaonkar (Hrishikesh); and his great grandchildren, Michael Keene, Kirstyn Edwards, Jayce Edwards and Greyson Peacock.
