She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Cress and Betty Reno (Keith); and her niece Stacey Geortz. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Geers; her children, Tera Staples (Shane) of Carrollton and Travis Geers (Julie) of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Levi Staples (Gracie), Lexi Staples, Katelyn, Annie Walker and Cali Geers; her siblings, Vickie Rose of Salem, Steve Cress of Godfrey and Ronnie Cress of Eldred; and her half-sister Amy Cress of Bethalto. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
