He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis McGuire and Cecilia McGuire (Gress); his granddaughter Alison Schnettgoecke; and his siblings, Edgar McGuire, Vernon McGuire, Philip McGuire (P. J.), Donald "Mac" McGuire and Mary Margaret Henkhaus.
He is survived by: his wife Viola "Vi" Schroeder; his children, Debbie Schnettgoecke (Charles) of St. Peters, MO, Steve McGuire (Kelly) of Carrollton and Patsy Baldes (Dale) of Florissant, MO; his grandchildren, Dana Schnettgoecke (Andrew Summers), Katelyn Butler (Adam), Kelsey McGuire (Cameron Koester), Garrett, Gavin, Jacob and Rachel Baldes; and his sisters, Eileen Simonds of Woodriver and Donna Kerrihard of Oklahoma.
