He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlie Vernelle Parks Sr. and Belle Parks; his grandson Joseph Parks; and his siblings, Lula Belle Field, Luke Parks, Jackie Deason and Dorothy Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Kim Jolly (Dion) of Carrier Mills, Rox Anne Van Dyke (Keith) of Harrisburg and Shayne Parks (Veronica) of Carrier Mills; his grandchildren, Trevor Jolly of Harrisburg, Taryn Jolly-Winder (Matt Winder) of Carrier Mills, Blake Parks (Kirstie) of Steeleville, Dylan Parks of Carrier Mills and Allyson Parks of Carrier Mills; his stepgrandson Jackson Van Dyke (Megan) of Evansville, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Emmalynn, Isla and Kenleigh; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carter, Cooper and Charlotte; and his siblings, Barbara Thurauf of Ballwin, Missouri, Brenda Raben (Bill) of Ridgway, David Parks (Cecilia) of Carrier Mills, Kathy Dunn (John) of Marion, Kentucky, Rhonda Felty (Blaine) of Stonefort and Mark Parks of Stonefort. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Salem Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
