He is survived by: his children, Joe Hicks of Golconda, Charles Allen Mayberry, Robert Mayberry of Carrier Mills, David Mayberry of Louisville, Colorado and Pam Walters of Dallas, Texas; his sister Linda Gidcumb of Harrisburg; and his former wife Linda Mayberry of Marion.
